About Us

National Consulting Engineers, Inc. (NCE) was founded in 1999 in Miami, FL. NCE is a full service professional structural engineering firm that provides services in the public, industrial and private sectors. In 2005, NCE added a specialty engineering division to its variety of services. Since then, NCE has designed hundreds of challenging projects in the area of specialty engineering. NCE possesses both the qualified human resources and the latest versions of popular structural softwares, allowing clients to enjoy the highest quality of service at the lowest possible cost. The principal engineer of NCE is Dr. Mohamed W. Fahmy, who has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Dr. Fahmy is a professional engineer in the state of Florida and serves as a threshold inspector. He has been a consultant to several engineering firms in the US and abroad, and has been teaching for more than 15 years. He has taught many graduate structural classes such as Finite Element Analysis, Structural Dynamics, Structural Reliability, Theory of Elasticity, and Structural Stability as well as a variety of undergraduate courses such as Solid of Mechanics I & II, Design of Pre-Stressed Concrete, and Introduction to Engineering at the University of Miami.
